TFF - Thousand Forms of Fashion is a made-to-order women’s wear brand from India. I organised e-commerce shoots for three collections for the label including the festive collection for the company website tffstore.in

ABOUT THE SHOOT

The festive season in India begins in late August-September with puja, celebrations (and even weddings!) all around the country. TFF launched their festive collection which included bright ethnic wear. We kept in mind the the label's e-commerce identity but also tried to keep the photography artistic by trying different lighting and poses.

WORKING PROCESS

The shoot was organised on a very tight budget as a result of which we could not hire a professional studio. This pushed me to be creative in my approach. I discussed and shared the mood board for lighting with my photographer friend and we decided to build a temporary studio setting at my house next to a large window, with a white linoleum that acted as the backdrop. We sourced DIY LED light panels from a friend and used my old studio lights along with the ring light for the simple set up.
